Pilot’s Safety Course

Who Should Attend?

The PILOT’S SAFETY COURSE conducted by RHC is a 3 day course which includes flying approximately 1 hour with an experienced RHC pilot in an R22, R44 or R66. One flight in one model is provided, no additional flight time is available.

While geared toward flight instructors, the course is open to any rated helicopter pilot with at least 3 hours logged in a Robinson helicopter.

Note: Student pilots may enroll in anticipation of receiving their rating; however, they must have obtained their helicopter rating prior to attending the course.

This is a FAA-approved Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC) and could be used towards a U.S. CFI renewal. To meet FAA requirements, additional ground instruction will  be required following conclusion of the course. Therefore, FIRC applicants must make travel plans accordingly.  Those attending to receive their CFI renewal must indicate this on their application.

This course is taught entirely in English and all attendees are required to understand and speak English.
