The Robinson R66 Newscopter is a turbine-powered, single-engine helicopter tailored for news gathering, featuring a Rolls-Royce RR300 engine. It includes a gyro-stabilized HD camera, microwave transmission system, and advanced avionics. It seats four, offers a cruise speed of 110 knots, and has a range of 325 nautical miles, making it ideal for aerial filming and live broadcasting. The standard R66 ENG package includes a gyro stabilized gimbal that houses an GSS Cineflex 512 with Sony HDC-50 4K Camera 46X lens. Also included are three HD micro cameras: two in the cabin for recording passengers, and a third mounted on the horizontal stabilizer.
