MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - EQUIPMENT & FACILITIES
Experienced in Supervising and Coordinating the Activities of Employees who are involved in Electrical, Mechanical Servicing and Maintenance of Production Machinery, in addition to the Physical Plant Facilities.
Position involves preparation of 3-D artwork for various technical manuals and publications.
Strong freehand drawing skills a must. Must be able to read blueprints. Proficiency in Adobe
Photoshop/Illustrator preferred. Turbocad, Solidworks, and/or other 3-D modeling program skills
2-5 years experience
TECHNICAL WRITER (2 Positions Available)
- FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) ratings
- RHC Maintenance Course (R22 & R44 Series, R66 Model preferred)
- 3+ years field experience working as A&P on Robinson helicopters
- Excellent written communications skills
- Computer proficient
- 2+ years working directly with FAA developing required operations manuals
- 2+ years technical writing experience developing instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) under 14 CFR Parts 21, 27, and/or 29
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong awareness of the importance
of accuracy in our Technical Publications and their relative impact on the safety of our operators.
Technical writers will work directly with Engineering, Technical Support, Planning, Production, RHC's
Repair Station, and Web Designers creating paper and electronic Technical Publications.
The technical writer will work directly with technical illustrator's to develop ICA for R22, R44,
and R66 Illustrated Parts Catalogs using Adobe InDesign software. The ideal candidate will be:
able to work independently, familiar with large document layout and management, able to read blueprints,
and familiar with ATA-100 or similar specification.
Examples of responsibilities include evaluating catalog content for accuracy against engineering drawings,
for logic of presentation when catalog is used independently or in conjunction with maintenance manuals or
other service documents, for backward compatibility with earlier revision aircraft and components, for
currency and completeness, for catalog agreement with stock availability, and permission-levels with regard
to illustrations and ordering.
The technical writer will work directly with technical illustrator's to develop ICA for R22, R44, and R66 Component Maintenance Manuals using Adobe InDesign software, in accordance with 14 CFR Part 27 Appendix A (§ 27.1529). The ideal candidate will have similar qualifications to that of Position 1, previous exposure to Part 145 operations, and successfully completed RHC's Session l & ll Component Overhaul Courses. Examples of responsibilities are similar to that of Position 1, and include the preparation and validation of maintenance procedures for a multitude of components.
